- This spring we needed to remove invasive species and non-prairie species out of several of our prairies that are in a CRP (Conservation Reserve Program). We had volunteers from Mennonite Church of Normal, First Mennonite Church of Morton, Metamora Mennonite Church, and New Life Community Church of the Nazarene spend muliple days helping us take out bush honeysuckle, autumn olive, and walnut trees. Some friends even sent up an excavator to help address larger groupings as well as clear along the lake. We could not have done it without their help!! - June 2022
- Installed overhead speakers in the Dining Hall, spread mulch and set up Nine Square; installed the pool filters and did the first backwash; and set up soccer goals in the Ballfield. - Lombard Mennonite Youth Group - May 2023

- Retrofitted fluorescent light ballasts to fit LED lights in the Campground Pavilion and at the Shop as well as moving picnic tables and boats to the Campground Pavilion for the winter. - Lombard Mennonite Youth Group - November 2022
- Pressure washed the Lakeside stairs. pressure washed and sealed the picnic tables, cleared brush between the lake and the lodge, cut/split/moved firewood, straighted the Menno Haven sign, cleared brush at the tubing hill and along trails - Fairview Mennonite Church, Kalona, IA - August 2022
