Family Camp - Luke Winger
Luke began entertaining audiences at just 8 years old and, since then, he has been seen in prisons, churches, schools, festivals, fairs, camps, weddings, and in special events around the globe. He has touched the lives of many through his audience engagement and encouraging messages. Luke uses his experiences learned from 4 years living in China, 25 years as a nationally competitive cyclist, having an Argentinian wife and from raising 4 boys, and blends them with his juggling and balancing skills to entertain, encourage and motivate people to reach their full potential. Luke is a former runner up at the Minnesota State Fair Talent show finals in the open division and a former Minnesota Track Cycling Rider of the year and National Collegiate Championship winning coach. He is currently the Elementary School Physical Education Teacher at the Mountain Lake Christian School. Luke and his Argentinian wife, Daviana, have four boys and live in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, where they enjoy raising their family and being active in their community. |
Cottontail Camp - Ashley Litwiller
Our Program Manager Ashley spent 5 years as a Worship & Youth Pastor at a small Mennonite church before she joined our team in 2020. Ashley grew up in Hopedale, IL where she was encouraged and kept accountable by a loving church family. She inherited musical gifts and a love for working with youth from her family. She loves walking with God's people in journeys of joy and sorrow. She is currently finishing a masters degree in counseling, as well as running our programs full-time. Teaching biblical truths is her passion in life. |
Sports Camp - Thavisith Mounsithiraj
Thavisith or Mr. T. Mounsithiraj is a longtime lover of camp ministry and teenagers. Ashley originally met him and his beautiful family while on a summer staff together back in 2012 and CAN.NOT. WAIT. for y'all to meet him. He was born in Laos and his family of 8 immigrated as political refugees to the United States when he was 11. He received his Bachelor degree in Psychology from Goshen College and Master Degree in Counseling from Indiana University. He is a member of Toastmaster International. He had spoken in front of a 3500 people audience as well as a small group gathering with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. His compelling life story and humor make him a very captivating and inspiring speaker. He is a gifted storyteller that connects very well with his audience. When not spending time with his awesome family and telling story, he can be found pacing sidelines coaching soccer. |

High School Camp - Julia Thomas
Julia Thomas is originally from Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from Bluffton University in 2015 after four wonderful years of studying Spanish and education as well as learning to love like Jesus and to look at the world through the lense of the Bible. She now lives and works as an elementary Spanish teacher in Oberlin, Ohio. She is thankful to have been able to travel to Bolivia twice since graduating to do mission work with a local church in Potosí. Julia loves to travel and aspires to travel to all of the Spanish-speaking countries in the world! Meanwhile, she also adores singing, reading, and writing and always looks forward to spending time with her beloved family and friends. |
GrandCamp - Sherry Schumann
Sherry Schumann has the privilege and joy of helping grandparents leave a legacy of faith in Jesus to their grandchildren and future generations. She serves as the president of Christian Grandparenting Network and is a charter member of Legacy Coalition. She has written two books, Prayers that Stir the Hearts of Grandparents and The Christmas Bracelet. Sherry’s life in rural South Carolina is simple and beautiful. She has been married to her soul mate for almost four decades. They are blessed with three grown sons, three daughters-in-law and seven adorable grandchildren. Sherry’s heart rejoices whenever her home echoes with the sounds of their grandchildren’s voices. |
