Family Service Week 

Family Service Week was a resounding success! We had time to fellowship, work and play. Our participants: Dean Bachman, Beth Gerig, Hannah Bachman, Leah Roth, Kate Kortemeier, Dustin Sutton, Mary Willis and Rich Schrock (not pictured) got so much work done in the three days they were here. These folks have a heart for Menno Haven and it shows!

The days started with breakfast and devotions with Jacob. Then work projects on the Oak Lodge Renovation and other tasks around Menno Haven filled the morning and afternoons with a sprinkling of snacks, lunch and supper. The participants performed the preliminary cleaning of the Oak Lodge hotel rooms, primed and painted all of the Oak Lodge hotel rooms, fixed a car, retrofit some old florscent lights with LED lights for the Menno Haven office, cleaned windows, and helped with a mailing. What an amazing crew! Many blessings to you all! Rook, ice skating, a movie, conversation and laughter filled the evenings and the last afternoon when the projects were completed.
