Spring Jobs to Be Done Before JUNE 1, 2007

1. Girls & Boys villages

a. Inspect and repair cabin steps as needed
b. Donated desks to be painted and installed in cabins
c. Inspect and repair screens as needed
d. Check operation of doors and window, adjust as needed
e. Turn on water, make repairs as needed

2. Craft barn

a. Repair water line or run new water line above ground
b. Turn on water, make repairs as needed
c. Inspect and repair steps as needed
d. Inspect and repair screens as needed

3. Pool (all completed by May 20 if possible)

a. Repair 8” main drain pipe
b. Backfill hole
c. Install chain link fence
d. Repair walls with concrete DuraPatch where needed
e. Paint pool walls and floor
f. Clean pool gutters
g. Add additional depth markings between the 3’6 and 5’ as requested by State
h. Install filters in chamber

4. Concrete

a. Prep and pour section of pool deck

5. Shop

a. Repair blown-in door
b. Organize shop area and sort supplies (with Dave)

6. Haul gravel

Medical Providers still needed!

We are still looking for volunteer certified nurses, doctors, EMT’s, PA’s, etc for all six weeks of our upcoming summer camp season. If you are willing to give of your time, please contact Jennifer at program@mennohaven.com or fill our the application. Remember, if you volunteer as a Medical Provider for one week your child can come to camp for half price, volunteer for two weeks and your child can come for FREE! Below you will see a brief summary of duties:

A) Receive medicines and talk with parents at Sunday check in.
B) Dispense medicines at appropriate times during the week
C) Be available 24 hours a day for medical emergencies.
D) Along with Program Director, determine when a camper needs more medical attention than we can provide.
